Nazareth works with latency and adolescent-aged children requiring emotional and behavioral support who fall within a wide range of intellectual abilities. We provide an open environment where the children are encouraged to learn and grow in a healthy environment. All of Nazareth’s staff are trained to employ Crisis Prevention Institute’s (CPI) de-escalation techniques to address the youth’s trauma-related behaviors. Staff consistently use positive reinforcement to support our youth in making good choices daily. Our clinical team provides regular trainings for all direct care staff on trauma-informed care and a wide variety of effective therapeutic interventions.
Psychiatric services, psychological assessments, speech therapy, and occupational therapy are provided on an as-needed basis to support and enhance each youth’s progress.
