Crocodile River
Nazareth youth have been fortunate to have benefited from a grant received by a local Worcester area non-profit, Crocodile River. Over the course of a month, the youth enjoyed participating in 3 weekly hour-long sessions dedicated to learning about African Drumming and music. Each week, the kids spent time interactively learning African rhythms via drumming and dancing guided by the Crocodile River team. The culmination of the month was an amazing concert by Crocodile River. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the weekly learning sessions, and of course, they were excited to watch and participate in the grand finale concert. We are grateful to have had the opportunity to enhance our youth’s cultural awareness in such a fun and dynamic way.
